Elaya Hotel Hamburg Finkenwerder

Loved the river views from my room — so relaxing! The location is great for exploring Hamburg via ferry 🚢. But the internet was a real pain. kept needing those passcodes. 😩

Unique location, a few steps away from everywhere. Modern, spotless unit with a beer, a boiling machine plus a superb view over the Elbe.

The hotel was functional and nice and located in a great area. The room I got was absolutely fantastic with a superb view, a beer or soft drink, for instance. The location was unique and the staff members were nice. I went to nearby Restaurant River View and tried their local food.

Although the room has a lovely river view, it was unbearably hot with no air conditioning, which everyone should have when paying four-star prices. The restaurant closed way too early, and don't even get me started on the cheap beds! I expected a complimentary drink to at least acknowledge my discomfort, but obviously, that's asking too much here.

Inconsistent internet connectivity!!! High parking fees could use a review!!! Slow restaurant service left a lot to be desired during peak hours!!! Room temperature control needs improvement for a comfortable stay!!!

hamburg-harburg district is worth seeing. the view of the river from the room was beautiful. besides, we had free wifi.

Staff in the hotel restaurant - very professional and kind

This hotel has an amazin location right on the elbe river! We were super happy with the view from our room, it's so chill to watch the big ships go by. The breakfast was also really good, so much variety and fresh stuff! Plus, the gym was well equipped which was a bonus. Really comfy bed in our room for a nice sleep!

But the internet was kinda slow and kept disconnecting which was annoying. The restaurant service was a bit slow at dinner.

The hotel was beautifully presented, very clean and finished to a high spec.We had a room facing the river and the view was gorgeous .

When travelling on the other side of the riverif your using public transport, you have to make sure of the time table as after a certain time the water taxis stop running, you dont have alot of options apart from taxi cars that dont really like to go that side of the river. We asked about 5 before one of them would take us costing £30.

It offers very good service.

For added comfort, try to reserve a room on a higher floor for the best views and minimal disturbances.

This hotel is nearby to Airbus Trainng Center in Hamburg.

The hotel is far from Hamburg downtown.

Close to Airbus Hambug, business meetings etc.

Location is good for business with Airbus Hamburg, but not so good if you wish to visit the city.

Scenic Views by the Elbe River

Waking up to the beautiful panoramic views of the Elbe River while enjoying a comprehensive breakfast buffet set a perfect tone for my day. The staff were pretty good too ensure a smooth experience.

It would have been more comfortable if the rooms had better sun protection as well.

Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location with good road links and good public transport links to the city of Hamburg.

Restaurant and breakfast was a little expensive. The car park should be free as I already paid a premium price for the room.
